General Terms and Conditions
of the online store www.doccariequestrian.com

I. Identification of the Seller

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the legal relations between the company:

(hereinafter also referred to as the “Seller” or “Merchant”)

and any person who is a Buyer of products offered by the Seller on the Seller’s Website and who acts as a consumer within the meaning of these GTC and applicable laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular: Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and Act No. 40/1964 Coll. Civil Code, as amended.

II. Definitions

2.1. For the purposes of these GTC, the Merchant defines the following terms:

2.2. Distance contract – a contract concluded exclusively through one or more means of distance communication without the simultaneous physical presence of the merchant and consumer (e.g. online interface, email, phone, etc.)

2.3. Merchant (Seller) – a person acting within their business activity in relation to a consumer contract

2.4. Consumer – a natural person not acting within their business activity

2.5. Consumer contract – any contract concluded between a merchant and a consumer

2.6. Online store – identical to electronic commerce and website

2.7. Buyer – any person who places an order

2.8. Durable medium – a medium enabling storage and reproduction of information (e.g. email, USB, CD, etc.)

2.9. Product – goods, services, or digital content

2.10. Service – any activity provided to a consumer

2.11. Goods – any tangible movable item

III. Basic Provisions

3.1. These GTC govern relations between Buyers (consumers) and the Merchant
3.2. For non-consumer Buyers, the Commercial Code applies

IV. Order – Conclusion of Purchase Contract

4.1. An order placed by the Buyer is a proposal to conclude a contract
4.2. The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order via email

V. Duration of the Contract

5.1. The contract is concluded for a fixed period and ends upon fulfillment (delivery and payment), without prejudice to warranty rights

VI. Purchase Price

6.1. Prices are listed per product and valid at the time of ordering
6.2. Prices include all taxes

VII. Delivery

7.1. The Seller must deliver goods within 60 days after contract conclusion and payment
Typical dispatch time: 1–3 days after payment

VIII. Transfer of Ownership

8.1. Ownership and risk pass to the Buyer upon delivery

IX. Payment Methods

9.1. Payment via GoPay – €0 fee

X. Shipping

10.1. Shipping costs are not included in product price

10.2. Delivery options:

  • Slovak Post – €3
  • Courier – €3
  • Personal pickup – €0

XI. Withdrawal Without Reason

11.1. The consumer may withdraw without giving a reason, except in cases such as:

  • fully provided services
  • custom-made goods
  • perishable goods
  • opened hygiene-sealed goods
  • digital content after consent
    (and other legally defined exceptions)

XII. Withdrawal Period

12.1. Withdrawal period:

  • 14 days (standard cases)
  • 30 days (unsolicited visits/sales events)

12.2.–12.3. If information was not provided, the withdrawal period may extend up to 12 months

12.4. Goods are considered received upon physical acceptance

12.6. Withdrawal can be made via any clear statement (email, letter, etc.)

XIII. Consumer Obligations After Withdrawal

13.1. Return goods within 14 days
13.2. Consumer pays return shipping (unless stated otherwise)
13.3. Consumer is liable for reduced value due to misuse

XIV. Seller Obligations After Withdrawal

14.1. Refund within 14 days (including delivery costs)
14.4. Refund may be withheld until goods are returned
14.5. Refund is made via original payment method

17.1. The Seller does not sell age-restricted products to persons under 18
Age verification may be required upon delivery

19.1. Reviews are not verified as coming only from buyers

XX. Final Provisions

20.1. The Seller may change these GTC
20.2. These GTC are part of complaint policy and privacy policy
20.3. Effective from: 08.07.2025
